SILENTSYS will be exhibiting at Photonics West from January 27th to February 1st! 💥💥💥
SILENTSYS will be presenting an industrial version of our OFD (Optical Frequency Discriminator) designed for specific applications placed in constrained environments like fiber optic sensing (DAS, DTS, DSS) to increase measurement distances by laser frequency stabilization.
We’ll also be showing you possibilities to characterize laser sources; in particular to measure frequency noise that is relevant for industrial and laboratory applications.
And, you’ll have the opportunity to discover all the benefits of our solutions for the Quantum World !

SILENTSYS would like to congratulate Yaël Pellerin on obtaining his diploma. As a reminder, Yaël Pellerin completed his PASTEL: Parcours et Assemblage de Système Électronique bachelor’s degree on a work-study basis with us. He is now officially employed by SILENTSYS.
The company is proud to train young talent and will continue to do so in the future 😉

SILENTSYS had the opportunity to take part in the French Fab 2023 event organized at the Manufacture de l’Éphémère in the presence of Christelle Morancais and Nicolas Dufourcq.
On the program: meetings, debates dedicated to industry, a tour of the factory and a large convivial table to celebrate 10 years of Bpifrance, in the heart of this production workshop!
Pierre Brochard presented the company in “pitch ton industrie”!

ESA project: “Compact Optical Frequency Discriminator with low sensitivity to environment”.🔥🔥
SILENTSYS is the beneficiary of an 8-month project supported by European Space Agency – ESA as part of the DISCOVERY program, ESA Initial Support for Innovation (EISI), which aims to financially support space-related developments by companies.
The aim of the “Compact Optical Frequency Discriminator with low sensitivity to environment” project is to study the miniaturization and isolation of an optical frequency discriminator for on-board space applications.
The project will be divided into 2 phases: an initial state-of-the-art and specifications phase, followed by a theoretical simulation phase to validate the benefits of the technology.

For 6 months now, SILENTSYS has been collaborating with Le Mans Université, ENSIM Ecole d’Ingénieurs Le Mans Université and the Laboratoire d’Acoustique de l’Université du Mans (LAUM) as part of the FIBROVIB chair held by Adrien Pelat.
2 students from Le Mans Université’s Master Mécanique are currently working on the vibro-acoustic isolation of our technologies as part of their tutored project.
Frank Ayakam and William Deffo, accompanied by Frédéric Ablitzer, teacher-researcher at LAUM, visited us to discuss their progress. Stay tuned for updates on the project!
This project is supported by the Pays de la Loire Region as part of the “Chaire Régionale d’application” scheme.

SILENTSYS is pleased and proud to announce that our president Pierre Brochard has been nominated for the prestigious Jean Jerphagnon Prize 2023.
The aim of this prize is to reward a researcher or engineer who proposes an innovative project of great scientific value or high industrial potential marking a stage in their career involving at least one element of optics or photonics.

Kick-off for the FIBROVIB Chair
Yesterday saw the launch of the FIBROVIB Chair headed by Adrien Pelat, which brings together Le Mans Université, the ENSIM Le Mans Université engineering school, the Laboratoire d’Acoustique de l’Université du Mans (LAUM) and SILENTSYS.
This chair is the first in Sarthe to benefit from the regional application chair scheme supported by the Pays de la Loire Region, which we would like to thank for its support for our project, which aims to optimise the design of our photonic systems by minimising sensitivity to the vibration environment over a 4-year period.
