In a controlled laboratory environment, the vibration and acoustic sensitivity of instruments like lasers and optical interferometers is less critical. These issues are typically addressed by using bulky and expensive optical tables mounted on pneumatic dampers. However, the situation is entirely different for embedded systems used in airplanes, boats, submarines, or ground vehicles. In such cases, minimizing vibrations and acoustic disturbances from noisy environments is crucial. Over the years, SILENTSYS has developed specialized expertise in this area, thanks in part to a strong collaboration with leading institutions in the field, including the University of Le Mans, ENSIM and LAUM.
